This the third ship to carry the name HMS Bristol was a fourth rate, 50-gun, ship.

Built at Sheerness Dockyard, launched 25-Oct-1775, 146ft long, 41ft wide and of 1,049 tons builders measurement.

Used as a prison ship 1794.

Broken up Jun-1810.
