This the third ship to carry the name HMS Beagle was a 2-gun, wooden screw gunvessel.

Built by Mare of Blackwall, launched 20-Jul-1854, 160ft long, 25ft 6in wide and of 477 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 68pdr ML guns.

Sold 1863 in Hong Kong. Renamed Kanko 1865.

Broken up 1889.

Won the Battle Honours: Crimea 1854-55 and China 1856-60.
