Erin Class (1914) BB

HMS Erin was a class of one, which was originally ordered as the Rechand V for the Turkish Navy. Taken over by the Royal Navy for WW1.

Erin was similar to the King George V (1912), and Iron Duke (1914)  classes. She was up to British contemporary standards of design and an important addition to the fleet.
