HMS Worcester (1922) DD  (6th)

This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Worcester was a Repeat W Class destroyer.

Built by White, laid down 20-Dec-1918, launched 24-Oct-1919 and completed 20-Sep-1922.

Struck a Mine 23-Dec-1943 in the North Sea and not repaired.

Used as an accommodation ship from May-1944.

Renamed HMS Yeoman Jun-1945.

Sold 17-Sep-1946 for breaking up.

Won the Battle Honours: Dunkirk 1940, Atlantic 1940, North Sea 1940-43, English Channel 1942-43 and Arctic 1942-43.
