Wooden Screw Corvette 31-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Tribune was a 31-gun, wooden screw corvette.

Built at Sheerness Dockyard, launched 21-Jan-1853, 192ft long, 43ft wide and of 1,570 tons builders measurement. Armed with 1 x 10in and 30 x 32pdr guns.

Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1853.

Sold Aug-1866.

Won the Battle Honours: Baltic 1854, Crimea 1854-55 and China 1856-60.
