This the third ship to carry the name HMS Thruster was a tank
landing ship, originally LST 3520. Built by Vickers of Montreal launched 02-May-1945. Renamed HMS Thruster 1947. Transferred to the Ministry of Transport 1956 and renamed Empire Petrel. Sold in Singapore 1968.
