Sloop 18-gun

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Sylph was an 18-gun sloop.

Bought May-1780, 80fr 6in long, 26ft wide and of 224 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x 4pdr guns.

Captured by the French 03-Feb-1782, at the loss of Demerara.
