This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Sultan was a Tank
Landing Ship, originally LST 3031 and renamed 1947. Built by Connell, launched 14-Dec-1944. Renamed HMS Sultan Jan-1959. Sold 08-Dec-1970 and broken up at Valencia.
