This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Starling was a
patrol vessel. Built by Hall Russell, launched 07-Sep-1983, 205ft 3in long, 32ft 8in wide and displacing 662 tons. Armed with 1 x 76mm gun. Sold 01-Aug-1997 to the Philippine Navy and renamed Artimio Ricarte.
