HMS St Andrew (1670)  (3rd)
1st Rate 98-gun

    
This the third HMS St Andrew was a first rate, three deck, 98/96-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard and launched 1670, 159ft long, 44ft wide, and of 1,318 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Chatham as a 1st Rate 100-gun, 170ft long, 48ft wide and of 1,722 tons bm, then renamed HMS Royal Anne 08-Jul-1703.

Broken up May-1727 but still listed until 1756.

Won the Battle Honours: Sole Bay 1672, Schooneveld 1673, Texel 1673 and Barfleur 1692.
