HMS Southampton (1820)  (3rd)
4th Rate 52-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name Southampton was a fourth rate, 52-gun ship.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, laid down Mar-1817, launched 07-Nov-1820 and completed 11-May-1821.

On completion went into Ordinary (Reserve).

Used as the coastguard guard ship at Sheerness 1857 then Coastguard training ship at Hull 18-Jun-1867.

Sold and broken up 26-Jun-1912.
