This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Solebay was a fifth rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Adams & Barnard of Deptford, launched 26-Mar-1785, 126ft 6in long, 35ft wide and of 683 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 11-Jul-1809 on the coast of Africa.
