This the first ship to carry the name HMS Solebay was a sixth rate, 24-gun, ship.

Built by Snelgrove of Deptford, launched Sep-1694, 92ft long, 25ft wide and of 256 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 25-Dec-1709 on the Boston Rock near Lyme Regis.
