This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Serpent was a 16-gun, brig-sloop.

Built by Fletcher of Limehouse, launched 14-Jul-1832, 101ft 6in long, 32ft wide and of 434 tons builders measurement. Armed with 14 x 32pdr and 2 x 18pdr guns.

Broken up Jul-1861 at Portsmouth.

Won the Battle Honour: Burma 1852.
