This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Scout was an 18-gun, sloop.

Originally a French Privateer (Premier Consul), captured 05-Mar-1801 by HMS Dryad, off the coast of Ireland. 113ft long, 30ft wide and of 448 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x 24pdr carronades, and 2 x 6prd guns.

Foundered off the coast of Newfoundland 1802.
