This the third ship to carry the name HMS Salmon was an S
Class, submarine. Built by Cammell Laird, laid down 15-Jun-1933, launched 30-Apr-1934, and commissioned 08-Mar-1935. Took part in the King George V Silver Jubilee Fleet Review 16-Jul-1935. Missing and presumed mined in the North Sea about 09-Jul-1940. Won the Battle Honour: North Sea 1939-40.
