HMS Royal Oak (1894) BB  (6th)

This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Royal Oak was one seven of the Royal Sovereign Class (1892) battleships.

Built by Laird, Shipbuilders, laid down in May 1890 launched 05-Nov-1892 and completed June-1894.

Went initially into Reserve until 1896, then went to the Mediterranean until 1902.

After refit she was with the Home or Channel Fleet until 1905.

Then mainly in Reserve until sold 14-Jan-1914.
