This the fourth ship to carry then name HMS Princes Royal was a second rate, 91-gun, screw, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 23-Jun-1853, 217ft long, 58ft wide and of 3,129 tons builders measurement.

Sold 1872.

Won the Battle Honours: Baltic 1854 and Crimea 1855.
