This the third ship to carry the name HMS Princess Royal was a second rate, 90-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 18-Oct-1773, 177ft 6in long, 50ft 6in wide and of 1,973 tons builders measurement.

Establishment of guns increased to 98, in 1800, then reduced to 74-guns 1807.

Broken up Oct-1807.

Won the Battle Honour: Genoa 1795.
