This the tenth ship to carry the name HMS Pearl was a 3rd
Class Protected Cruiser. Built at Pembroke Dock, laid down 01-Apr-1889, launched 28-Jul-1890, completed Oct-1892. On completion was placed into reserve at Devonport 1892-97. Went to the North America & West Indies Station 1897-1901, then the Cape 1901-04. Sold at Simonstown 1906.
