This the second ship to carry the name HMS Northumberland was a third rate, 70-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford 1705, 151ft long, 41ft wide, and of 1,105 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Woolwich 1721 with an increased tonnage of 1,133 tons bm.

Broken up at Woolwich Nov-1739.
