This the thirteenth ship to carry the name HMS Mercury was a cutter tender.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 07-Feb-1837, 54ft long, 18ft wide and of 70 tons builders measurement.

Renamed YC.6 (yard craft) 1866.

Renamed HMS Plymouth 08-Feb-1876.

Sold 17-May-1904.
