This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Lee was an Algerine class, 3-gun, wooden screw gunboat.

Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, laid down 01-Oct-1856, launched 28-Feb-1857, and completed 13-Apr-1857.

Sunk 25-Jun-1859 in action against the Taku forts, Peiho river, China.

Won the Battle Honour: China 1856-60.
