| This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Euryalus was an Armoured 
      Cruiser. Built by Vickers of Barrow, laid down 18-Jul-1899, launched 20-May-1901 and completed 05-Jan-1904. On completion went as Flagship to the Australia Station 1904-05, returned to the UK and went into reserve 1905-06. Served as Boys training Ship America & West Indies Station 1906-09. Joined the 3rd Fleet 1909-14. With the 7th Cruiser Squadron North Sea 1914, then the 12th Cruiser Squadron 1914-15. To the Mediterranean 1915-16 then on to the East Indies Station as Flagship 1916-17. Began conversion to a Minelayer at Hong Kong Nov-1917. Conversion abandoned 1918. Sold 01-Jul-1920, and broken up in Germany. Won the Battle Honours: Heligoland 1914, Dardanelles 1915.
