HMS Enterprise (1744)  (3rd)
5th Rate 44-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Enterprise was a fifth rate, 44-gun, ship.

Originally HMS Norwich, a fourth rate, 48-gun, ship. Built at Deptford, launched 1693, 125ft 6in long, 34ft wide and of 618 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Chatham 1718 as 703 tons bm.

Renamed HMS Enterprise 23-May-1744 and re-rated a fifth rate 44-gun, ship.

Broken up at Sheerness 1771.
