Composite Screw Gunboat 4-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Decoy was a 4-gun, composite screw gunboat.

Built at Pembroke Dockyard, launched 12-Oct-1871, 125ft long, 22ft 6in wide and of 295 tons builders measurement, displacing 430 tons. Armed with 2 x 64pdr Muzzel Loading and 2 x 20pdr guns.

Sold Oct-1885.

Won the Battle Honours: Ashantee 1873-74 and Alexandria 1882.
