This the only ship to carry the name HMS Corunna was a Battle Class (1946), destroyer.

Built by Vickers Armstrong on the Tyne, laid down 12-Apr-1944, launched 29-May-1945, and commissioned 06-Jun-1947.

Appeared at the Coronation Review 1953.

Converted to a Radar Picked 1960.

Arrived for breaking up 23-Nov-1974.
