HMS Conqueror (1886) BB  (7th)

    
This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Conqueror was the name ship of a class of two battleships.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, laid down in Apr-1879, launched 08-Sep-1881 and completed in Mar-1886.

She went into Reserve in 1887, and became a gunnery training ship in 1889, base at Devonport. Apart from the occasional manoeuvres she spent the remainder of her service at Devonport.

Paid off in 1902, and was sold 09-Apr-1907.
