This the second ship to carry the name HMS Carysfort was a sixth rate, 26-gun, ship.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 12-Aug-1836, 130ft long, 40ft wide and of 911 tons builders measurement.

Sold 22-Nov-1861.

Won the Battle Honour: Syria 1840.
