HMS Bulwark (1902) BB  (4th)

This the fourth HMS Bulwark was a London Class (1902) battleship.

Launched 18-Oct-1899 and completed March-1902. 

She served as Flagship of the Mediterranean Fleet 1902-07, then went for refit at home.

In 1908 she was commanded by Captain R F Scott, the most junior battleship captain in the Fleet. He later earned fame as the Antarctic explorer.

She was mainly with the Home Fleet 1909-1912. Then joined the 5th Battle Squadron.

She blew up at Sheerness while loading ammunition 26-November-1914 and was totally destroyed. With only 12 survivors of her crew of 750.
