This the first HMS Bulwark was a third rate, 74-gun ship of the
line. Originally called HMS Scipio while under construction and
renamed Bulwark before being launched.
Built at Portsmouth Dockyard and launched 23-Apr-1807, 183ft long, 49ft wide and of 1,940 tons builders measurement. launched on 23-Apr-1807 from Portsmouth Dockyard. She saw active service during the American War of 1814-15, and completed nearly 20 years of service. Broken up in Sep-1826 at Portsmouth..
