HMS Bruiser (1942) LST  (6th)

Built by Harland & Wolff, launched 24-Oct-1942. One of three Mk1 LST's which were the first purpose built ships of the type.

Fitted as a fighter direction ship for the Normandy invasion 1944.

Sold 1946.

Won the Battle Honours: Sicily 1943, Salerno 1943, Anzio 1944, Atlantic 1944, South France 1944  and Aegean 1944.
