HMS Boadicea (1797)  (1st)
5th Rate 38-gun

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Boadicea was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Built by Adams of Buckler's Hard, launched 12-Apr-1797, 148ft 6in long, 40ft 6in wide, and of 1,052 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from 1854.

Broken up May-1858.

Won the Battle Honour: Burma 1824-26.
