This the second ship to carry the name HMS Astraea was a 5th rate, 32-gun, ship.

Built by Fabian of East Cowes, launched 24-Jul-1791, 126ft long, 36ft wide and of 703 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 23-mar-1808 off Anegada, West Indies.

Won the Battle Honours: Groix Island 1795, 'Gloire' 1795, St. Lucia 1796 and Egypt 1801.
