HMS Apollo (1805)  (5th)
5th Rate 38-gun

    
This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Apollo was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Built by Parsons of Bursledon, launched 27-Jun-1805, 154ft 6in long, 40ft wide and of 1,086 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service, then a troopship from Apr-1846.

Broken up 1856.

Won the Battle Honours: China 1842 and Crimea 1854.
