HMS Amazon (1745) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Amazon was
originally French, the Panthere, and rated a sixth rate, 26-gun,
ship. Captured 1745, 115ft long, 31ft wide and of 471 tons builders measurement. Sold Oct-1763. Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1762.
