HMS Aboukir (1798) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Aboukir was a third
rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line. Originally French (Aquilon), captured 01-Aug-1798, at the Battle of the Nile, 186ft long, 48ft wide and of 1,870 tons builders measurement. Broken up at Plymouth Mar-1802.
