HMS Vigilant (1901) TBD  (9th)

    
This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Vigilant was a destroyer.

Built by John Brown Shipyard on the Clyde, construction began on a speculative basis, and the ship was bought by the Royal Navy on the stocks 31-Mar-1900. Launched 16-Aug-1900 and completed Jun-1901.

Served entirely in home waters.

Sold 10-Feb-1920 to South Alloa Ship Breaking Company.
