This the second ship to carry the name HMS Undaunted was a fifth rate, 38-gun, ship.

Originally French (Arethuse), captured 29-Aug-1793 at Toulon, and named HMS Arethuse. 152ft long, 39ft 6in wide and of 1,064 tons builders measurement.

Renamed HMS Undaunted 1795.

Wrecked 27-Aug-1796, at Morant Keys, West Indies.
