HMS Topaze (1904) CC  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Topaze was the lead ship of a class of four 3rd Class, Protected Cruisers.

Built by Cammell Laird of Birkenhead, laid down 14-Aug-1902, launched 23-Jul-1903 and completed Nov-1904.

On completion joined the Channel Battle Squadron 1904-07, then went into reserve 1907-09. Senior Officers Ship 4th Destroyer Flotilla, Portsmouth 1909-12. The 2nd Fleet 1913 and the Channel Fleet 1014-15. To the Mediterranean 1915-17, the Red Sea 1917-18.

Returned to the UK and paid off at Portsmouth 1919.

Sold 1921.
