This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Tiger was a fourth rate, 60-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built by Wells & Stanton of Rotherhithe, launched 23-Nov-1747, 151ft long, 40ft wide and of 1,218 tins builders measurement.

Reduced to a hulk 1760.

Sold 12-May-1765 at Bombay.

Won the Battle Honours: Sadras 1758, Negapatam 1758 and Porto Novo 1759.
