This the second ship to carry the name HMS Termagant was an 18-gun, sloop.

Built by Dudman of Deptford, launched 23-Apr-1796, 110ft long, 30ft wide and of 427 tons builders measurement. Armed with 18 x32pdr and 8 x 12pdr carronades, and 2 x 6pdr guns.

Sold 03-Feb-1819.

Won the battle Honour: Egypt 1801.
