This the second ship to carry the name HMS Swift was a 6th Rate 20-gun, ship.

Originally French, captured 1689, 87ft 6in long, 26ft 6in wide and of 288 tons builders measurement.

Sunk 24-Apr-1695 as a breakwater at Portsmouth.
