This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Severn was a 5-gun, monitor.

Built by Vickers for Brazil, launched 19-Aug-1913, 265ft long, 49ft wide and displacing 1,260 tons. Armed with 2 x 6in guns and 2 x 4.7in howitzers.

Bought 08-Aug-1914 shortly after the start of WW1.

Sold 09-May-1921 and broken up 23-Mar-1923.

Won the Battle Honours: Belgian Coast 1914 and 'Konigsberg' 1915.
