This the first ship to carry the name HMS Scylla  was an 18-gun, Brig-sloop.

Built by Davy of Topsham, launched 29-Jun-1809, and of 385 tons builders measurement.

Broken up Jan-1846.

Won the Battle Honour: 'Weser' 1813.
