HMS Sandown (1939) MS  (2nd)

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Sandown was a paddle minesweeper.

Built 1934 as a ferry for the Southern Railway's and requisitioned 1939 and converted to a minesweeper.

Converted 1942 to an anti-aircraft ship.

Converted back to a ferry 1945.

Scrapped 1956.

Won the Battle Honours: Dunkirk 1940 and Normandy 1944.
