This the third ship to carry the name HMS Salisbury was a
fourth Rate, 50-gun, ship. Built by Ewer of East Cowes, launched 29-Jan-1745. Condemned 24-Apr-1761 in the East Indies. Won the battle Honours: Sadras 1758, Negapatam 1758 and Porto Novo 1759. |
