HMS Rodney (1888) BB  (5th)

    
This HMS Rodney the fifth to carry the name, was one of five Rodney Class battleships.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, laid down Feb-1882, launched 08-Oct-1884 and completed Jun-1888.

She served in home waters from 1888-94. Then went to the Mediterranean for three years from 1894-97. 1897-1901 was spent as a coastguard ship at home. 

Then into Reserve from 1901 until she was sold 11-May-1909.
