| This the only ship to carry the name HMS Quentin was a Q 
		Class, destroyer. Built by White, laid down 25-Sep-1940, launched 05-Nov-1941, and commissioned 15-Apr-1942. On commissioning went to the Mediterranean. Formed part of the escort for the Malta Pedestal convoy Aug-1942. Then spent a short time in the Caribbean before returning to the Mediterranean. Early Dec-1942 in company with fellow destroyer, HMS Quiberon, and 3 cruisers successfully attacked an Italian convoy and sank 1 escorting Italian destroyer. But while returning to base, was torpedoed and sunk 02-Dec-1942 by aircraft north of Algiers. Won the Battle Honours: Malta Convoys 1942, North Africa 1942, Atlantic 1942 and Mediterranean 1942.
