HMS Prince (1714)  (3rd)
2nd Rate 90-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Prince was originally HMS Triumph,  a second rate, 90-gun ship-of-the-line, renamed Prince 27-Aug-1714.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, launched 1698, 160ft long, 46ft wide and of 1,482 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Chatham 1750 as 168ft 6in long, 48ft wide and an increased tonnage of 1,667 tons bm.

Broken up at Plymouth 1775.

Won the Battle Honour: Lagos 1759.
